On the PC that will be controlled, open VeltoDesk and share the on-screen ID with the helper through a channel you both trust.
3. Optional: access password
If unattended access is set, the helper uses the access password. If not, follow the on-screen prompt to accept the connection on the remote PC.
4. The helper connects
On the helper’s device, enter the ID and connect. Wait until the session window opens.
5. End the session when finished
Either side can disconnect when the session should stop. Change passwords if an ID was shared more widely than intended.
6. Who may use this
Anyone may use VeltoDesk for lawful remote access — including if you use it at work — as long as every device and account involved is authorized. These guides only explain how to open a connection, not what to do after you are connected.
